Circular Economy Approach
For high-energy-consuming equipment such as circulating water systems, steam heat exchange systems, vacuum pump units, and electrolytic cells, we have effectively reduced steam and water consumption by optimizing the waste heat recovery and utilization of the evaporation system, replacing ion-exchange membranes, and implementing self-circulating hydrogen cooling towers.
To address the energy consumption issue of the original diaphragm caustic soda system, the company launched a high-salinity wastewater recovery and upgrading project. By introducing, absorbing, and innovating industry-leading wet oxidation technology, we upgraded the diaphragm caustic soda unit to an ion-exchange membrane caustic soda unit. This upgrade transforms high-salinity wastewater into a valuable resource, allowing it to be reused in the ion-exchange membrane caustic soda process, which requires higher brine quality, significantly reducing energy consumption and increasing water resource reuse rates.
